iCal Icon    Updating Internet calendars

If you've published any calendars on the Internet, you may want to update them to show your latest changes. Or if you've subscribed to any calendars, you may want to check for updates periodically to be sure you have the latest information available.

•

To manually update the published copy of a calendar, select the calendar in the Calendars list, then choose Calendar > Refresh. If someone has subscribed to your calendar, they can choose Refresh to update their copy to include your latest published changes.

•

To automatically connect to the Internet to publish changes to your calendar, select the calendar in the Calendars list, then click the Info button in the bottom-right corner of the iCal window. In the Info drawer, choose "after each change" from the "auto-publish" pop-up menu.

•

To manually retrieve updates to a calendar to which you've subscribed, click the name of the calendar to select it, then choose Calendar > Refresh (or Refresh All). You can also choose to retrieve updates to the calendar automatically by choosing an item from the "auto-refresh" pop-up menu in the calendar's Info drawer.

If you see an exclamation point next to a published calendar or a calendar you've subscribed to, the calendar wasn't updated correctly. Check your Internet connection and try refreshing or updating the calendar again.
