iCal Icon    I can't publish a calendar

You might not be able to publish a calendar if:

•

The server you're publishing to does not have enough space

•

Your Internet connection is not working or set up correctly

•

You're trying to publish to a private server that is not WebDAV-enabled

•

You've incorrectly typed a private server's URL

•

You're trying to publish to .Mac and your account is not set up in .Mac preferences

If you want to publish your calendar on your iDisk but don't have enough space, you can buy more storage space for your iDisk, or remove a calendar that you've published to make more room. For information about adding more server space, visit the .Mac website. For information about removing published calendars from your iDisk, click "Tell me more."

Make sure you have a working Internet connection (open a web browser to see if it connects). If you are connected, make sure the settings in Internet preferences are correct for your Internet service provider (ISP). If you don't have Internet access, you can't publish your calendar on the Internet.

If you're publishing on a private server, make sure that you've typed the URL for the server correctly in the Publish window. Also check with your ISP to make sure the server is WebDAV-enabled. (You can only publish an iCal calendar to a server that is WebDAV-enabled.)

If you're trying to publish a calendar using your .Mac membership, make sure your account information is correct in .Mac preferences (choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click .Mac). Check your account information in the .Mac pane and click the iDisk button to make sure you're able to access your iDisk.
